I ran off about 150 of them on bright orange paper and Jill and I spent an afternoon blanketing all the neighborhood cafes, laundromats, bus stops, and telephone poles with them. And then I waited, and waited, but not one person answered my ad. Disappointment is like a full-time job sometimes, you know? But now, after all this time, it appears that someone may have found my little lost pounds after all! Life is funny.
