Friday, Sept. 24, 2004 | link Tonight Sunny's band Knife and Fork opened for the Pixies at the Greek Theater in Berkeley and she put Caroleen and me on the list! And afterward we got to go back stage! Best celebrity sighting? Will Power of Imperial teen, wow. (I just spent seven whole minutes looking for the entry I could have swore I wrote about my one Will Power sighting, about the coordinated backup dancers in sweater vests, doing "shooting arrow" cupid dance moves and singing about rolling around and making out. See? Wow.) Saddest realization? My knife-and-fork tattoo, which was on full display thanks to my perpetually low-riding pants (and which I got years before the band formed, swear), could only have been onlooked upon as nothing but the very worst case of ban-fandom, sigh.
